Suspension of all MEG social activities

Due to the State of Emergency declared by the Victorian Government to combat COVID-19 (Coronovirus), & taking heed of advice from various environmental organisation such as Birdlife Australia & Landcare Victoria; MEG are suspending all organised activities such as working bees, bird walks & meetings until the health emergency is resolved. Unfortunately not an April Fool joke! Contact will be maintained by social media & email.

Perhaps social distancing could be renamed physical distancing as social (if not physical) contact will become more important in these dark days!

World Environment Day - City of Melton Environmental Grants

On World Environment Day three local community environmental groups MEG, Friends of Toolern Creek & Friends of Melton Botanic Gardens were awarded grants of $1000 each.
